Dr. Alexander H. Stopp's commercial and corporate law practice is extensive. Having practiced in Frankfurt since 1991, he has been actively involved in a number of multi-jurisdictional investment ventures throughout Europe, cross-border mergers, corporate restructurings, "right-sizings" as well as going public and going private scenarios. He has counselled on the pertinent employment and labor law issues. From 1996 through 2000, he also held the position as Vice President Legal and General Counsel of a software company. From 2000 through 2002 he served as Managing Director and General Counsel of a privately owned asset management and investment corporation.

Dr. Stopp has in-depth experience in the software licensing and distribution field, including project implementation and services contracts as well as software maintenance agreements. He represents domestic and international clients in intellectual property disputes involving software protection, press- and copyright as well as general unfair competition disputes before German courts.
